Matching TiMotion actuator models without redesigning your setup

I had a similar situation a while back. What worked for me was using the Progressive Automations cross reference chart https://www.progressiveautomations.com/pages/replacement-chart. It helped me identify actuators that matched the stroke, voltage, and load requirements of my old TiMotion units. I was able to swap them in without changing mounts or electronics, which saved a ton of time. Double-checking the physical dimensions is also key, because even a slight mismatch can cause binding or stress on the system.

From what I’ve seen, a lot of people underestimate how small differences in mounting points or actuator speed can affect performance. Even if the specs look close on paper, test-fitting or comparing actual measurements before full installation usually saves a lot of headaches.
